Cookies & Local Storage
Bacorn keeps this simple. As of today, bacorn.store does not set third-party advertising cookies. What we do store on your device is limited to a small set of purposes described below.
Local storage keys we set
bacorn_flavor_votes— an array of flavor names you've clicked "Vote" on. Used only to render the vote state; not sent anywhere until you submit the Flavor Club form.
Cookies we set
Today, we do not set first-party session cookies for the marketing site. When paid checkout opens, Stripe will set its own cookies on its hosted checkout pages under stripe.com, subject to Stripe's own cookie policy.
Third-party cookies
Google Fonts is loaded via fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google Fonts may set cookies for its own operations.
Analytics tools (GA4, Meta Pixel, etc.) are not enabled today. When they are enabled, this page will be updated with a description of what each tool does and a way to opt out.
How to clear local storage and cookies
Every browser has controls to clear cookies and local storage. In Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → View permissions and data stored across sites → bacorn.store → Clear data.
Do Not Track
We honor the browser's Do Not Track header where feasible. If we add analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will offer a "Do Not Track" or opt-out signal.
